#R1# Clay throws a series of punches but Sohal avoids them all with ease. Clay goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Clay waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Sohal. Sohal is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Clay misses with a double jab.
And Sohal tries to counter it with a takedown but Clay pushes his down on his head and steps out. Clay misses with an uppercut. Clay scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Sohal doesn't seem bothered though. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Clay looks to land a combination but Sohal avoids it well. Sohal feints the counter takedown. Clay misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Sohal.

Short is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Sohal. Sohal appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Short looks to land a combination. Sohal sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Short throws a leg kick #TD# and Sohal decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Short's guard. Short keeping moving, preventing Sohal from controlling successfully. Sohal looking to control the position here, rather than advance. #SUB# Sohal drops back, looking for a kneebar! Short looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Short looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Short scores the big KO victory!
