#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway!#TD2# Takeda feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Takeda engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Valder is looking to stand up but Takeda isn't so interested in that idea. Takeda controlling from the top position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Takeda trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#T1# Takeda postures up.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Takeda seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. #REF3# The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.#TD2# Takeda changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Valder looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Takeda is staying tight to Valder's torso, preventing him from escaping. Valder manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Valder tries to get to full guard but Takeda has control of the leg. Takeda stalling. #T2# Valder is trying to get back to full guard. Takeda takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.#T3# The referee is pacing around the two fighters, thinking about a standup. Takeda's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.#REF3# The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.#TD# Valder shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Takeda napping and manages to drive through into side control! Takeda tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Valder presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! Takeda is squirming around, avoiding Valder's attempts to control the action. #T4# Takeda is desperately trying to improve his position but Valder has a good base and remains in mount. Takeda is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Valder trying to control but he's not successful this time. Takeda tries to lock up and control but Valder gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Takeda is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Valder looking to ground and pound but Takeda is blocking nicely. Takeda is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Petr Valder will probably get the nod. That's time! Valder's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.#R2##TD2# Takeda shoots in and bounces Valder off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Valder working a defensive guard here.
Takeda is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Let's hope that Takeda has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Takeda. More stalling from Takeda.#T1##REF3# The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Valder dives in for a single leg takedown but Takeda sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Takeda slaps away a takedown attempt from Valder, before circling back to the center of the mat.#TD2# Valder gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Valder can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Takeda controls the pace.#T2# Valder looking to control.
Takeda is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. #REF3# The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Valder misses with a takedown attempt - Takeda sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Takeda tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Petr Valder. That's going to take a lot out of him. Valder tries to clinch there but Takeda circles away.
#TD2# Takeda gets the takedown into side control. Valder is looking to regain half guard here but Takeda keeps moving and retains side control. #SUB2# Takeda tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Takeda has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! #T3# A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Takeda lands some shots froms side control. Valder is not content to let Takeda control the position. Takeda is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Valder's shoulder. That is not cool. Valder wants to control but Takeda postures up. Valder is trying to improve his position. Takeda controls the position. #T4# My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Valder tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Takeda wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Valder trying to remain calm as Takeda controls from the top position.#REF3# The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Valder shoots in but Takeda avoids the takedown attempt easily. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!#TD2# Valder gets caught napping as Takeda dives in and scores a takedown. Valder manages to retain guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Valder has momentary wrist control but Takeda slips an elbow through the middle. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Takeshi Takeda showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!#R3##TD2# Takeda darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Takeda is taking a breather. Valder says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Takeda with more of the same as he continues to hold on. Valder is looking for a sweep. Takeda is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Valder is trying to stand.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Valder trying to keep a closed guard but Takeda is proving a slippery customer.

And that's the end of the fight! Takeshi Takeda comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Takeda has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Valder defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Nurmagomedov.#TD2# Valder gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Nurmagomedov to score an easy takedown into full guard. Valder looking to sweep here. No luck so far. #SUB# Valder is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Valder bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Nurmagomedov's guard. #REVR##SUB2# Nurmagomedov is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Valder is aware though and is defending well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Valder throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Nurmagomedov works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Nurmagomedov is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Valder wants to control from the top but Nurmagomedov keeps moving. Valder trying to stand up but can't free himself from Nurmagomedov's guard.#T1# Valder tries to free his leg and advance position but Nurmagomedov is retaining full guard. #SUB2# Nurmagomedov is looking for a triangle here but Valder uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Nurmagomedov is positioning himself to get back to half guard. #SUB# Nurmagomedov reaches up around Valder's neck trying to control. But Valder takes advantage instantly and he's locked on an arm triangle! Big trouble for Nurmagomedov! Oh that looks nasty! A human being's head is not meant to turn that color! Nurmagomedov is out! He's gone limp! The ref steps in to break the fighters up and Valder celebrates the victory with the fans!
