#R1# Tai with a hook.#CUT#It looks like Israel Okoye has been cut. Okoye is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Tai stuns Okoye with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Tai misses with a hook. Okoye ducked under it nicely. Okoye drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Tai defends it well. Tai throws a body punch but Okoye moves out of range. Okoye slips under a jab from Tai. Tai swings widly with a right hand
#TD2# and Okoye counters with a takedown into side control. Okoye controls the position. Tai is trying to get back to half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Okoye moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#T1# Okoye works to advance to full mount. Tai defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. #T2# My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Okoye controlling his opponent. Okoye moves to back control. Okoye biding his time, controlling Tai. #T3##T4# There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Let's hope that Okoye has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Israel Okoye dominated that round. The cut man is working on Israel Okoye's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.#R2# Okoye with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Tai to score with a decent uppercut. Tai looks to land a combination but Okoye avoids it well. Okoye is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Tai scores with a jab to the jaw. Okoye moves out of range of the strikes. Tai throws a series of punches but Okoye avoids them all with ease. Tai throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
#TD2# and Okoye counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Okoye passes to side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.#T1##SU2# Okoye decides to stand back up. Tai misses the shot to the body. And Okoye tries to counter it with a takedown but Tai pushes his down on his head and steps out. Okoye blocks a jab. Okoye changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Okoye keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Tai. Tai scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Mai Tai is winning the standup battle so far. Nice defenses there by Okoye. Okoye blocks a jab. Okoye feints the counter takedown. Tai wants to clinch. Mai Tai seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.#T2# Tai throws a big shot that misses. Tai throws a hook but Okoye avoids it easily. Okoye takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Tai throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Tai throws an off balance right hand
#TD2# and Okoye counters with a nice double leg into guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Tai controls Okoye momentarily but Okoye frees himself. Okoye is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Okoye.#T3# Okoye stopping the sweep attempt from Tai. Okoye's corner is telling him to maintain position. Okoye passes Tai's left leg - he's now in half guard. Okoye with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Okoye's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.#T4# My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Okoye is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Okoye takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Israel Okoye will probably get the nod - 10:9. The cut man is working on Israel Okoye's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!#R3# Okoye blocks a jab. Tai wants to clinch#TD2# and Okoye counters with a shoot takedown. Tai fights it but they end up in guard. Okoye controls from within his opponent's guard. Okoye passes Tai's left leg - he's now in half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Okoye controlling the action here.#T1# Okoye is continuing to stall. Mai Tai has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Israel Okoye is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.#T2# Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.#REF3# The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Tai lands a nice shot to the body.

Okoye with more of the same as he continues to hold on.#T4# The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Okoye has knee on belly and moves into mount. Okoye content just to control the position here. The adventures of Okoye the control monster continue. Boring. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
And that's the end of the fight! Israel Okoye comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Okoye winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

#R1# Ike walks into a jab. Ike misses with a wild body shot. Tai uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Ike. Tai uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Ike. Tai tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Ike manages to circle out of the way. Ike getting the better of the striking in that exchange.#CL# Ike tries to keep at a distance but Tai has taken the fight into the clinch. Tai gets through Ike's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.#CUT#It looks like Roy Ike has been cut. Tai makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Tai swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Tai has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Ike fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Ike jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Tai walks away with a smile on his face. Ike gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Ike scores with a punch to the head.#CL2# Ike closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A shot in the inside from Tai. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Tai creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. #TD2# Ike decides to pull guard. #SUB2# Ike is looking for a triangle but Tai pushes his legs off easily.

Tai stays in close to Ike's body and controls the position. Tai might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.#SUB2# Ike pushes a forearm under Tai's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Tai is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!

#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A really sloppy takedown attempt there from B Johansson. Tai is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. Tai sizes up B Johansson with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. #CUT2#It looks like Hugo B Johansson has been cut.#CL2# Tai takes the fight into the clinch. Tai lands with a right to the head. B Johansson is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Tai cracks B Johansson with a nice body shot. A short right from Tai. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tai lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Tai lands a left hand that snaps the head of B Johansson backwards. A shot in the inside from Tai. Tai cracks B Johansson with a nice body shot. B Johansson is breathing heavily. A quick uppercut on the inside from Tai. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Tai lands with a short head shot on the inside. Oh B Johansson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Tai scores with an uppercut up the middle. A short body shot lands from Tai as the two fighters clinch.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mai Tai! A very excited looking Mai Tai rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed. |

#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway!#TD2# Canada shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Tai is trying to defend but Canada finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Canada looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Canada stalling. Tai is trying to stand back up but Canada is controlling him
Canada lands strikes from half guard. Canada lands with a punch from half guard. Tai knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Canada on the ground. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SU2# Canada escapes and gets back to his feet. #TD2# Canada closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Tai did well to prevent Canada getting side control. Canada working the head and body with strikes. #T1# Canada working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Canada controlling the pace. Canada is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Canada drops an elbow to the side of Tai's head. #ROC2#Tai is rocked! Canada scores with a big shot! Tai's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Tai! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
