Drake shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Molinov napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Molinov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Drake. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Molinov can do anything to dispel that myth.

Molinov drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Drake right on the button. Drake goes down! Molinov follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Molinov gets the win via TKO!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paine lands a nice hook to Molinov's body. Molinov takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Paine scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Molinov with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Paine to score with a decent uppercut.
Paine tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Molinov was well out of range. Poor timing from Paine.

enabling Molinov to counter with a crisp jab.
Molinov slips under a jab.
Paine throws an off balance right hand
and Molinov counters with a straight right hand.
Molinov ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Molinov slips a straight right by Paine.
As Paine looks to move away, Molinov throws a big counter combo but Paine just gets out of the way.
Paine has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Paine throws an ugly left hook that misses
enabling Molinov to counter with a crisp jab. #ROC#Paine is rocked!

Paine throws a hook to the side of Molinov's head but Molinov sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Molinov swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Paine jabbing away but nothing is landing.

and Molinov counters with a monster hook and another for good measure! Paine falls to the ground, out cold! Stick some heavy metal music over the top of that clip and it's one for the highlight makers!

A lazy left from Molinov finds it's target.
Molinov tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Werdum was well out of range. Poor timing from Molinov.

Werdum is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Molinov to keep the fight standing.
Werdum wants to take the fight to the mat but Molinov manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Minowa Werdum. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Nice uppercut lands for Dias. That snapped Molinov's head back.
A jab from Molinov misses.
Molinov throws an off balance right hand
and Dias counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Molinov walks into a jab.
Molinov throws a right and a left that both miss.
As Molinov looks to move away, Dias throws a big counter combo but Molinov just gets out of the way.
Molinov swings away with a body shot that misses
and Dias counters with a stiff right hand.
Molinov fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Molinov takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Molinov throws a jab but it's blocked by Dias.
Dias fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Molinov on the side of the head.#ROC#Molinov is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Dias cracks Molinov with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Molinov tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Dias pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Molinov is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Quintus Dias!
