Manfred swats away the attempt to clinch by Shaw. We've been informed that Shaw has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Shaw shoots in for a double leg but Manfred sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Manfred throws a looping overhand right but Shaw ducks down to avoid it. Shaw swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Shaw takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Shaw fails with a takedown attempt from distance.#TD# Manfred decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Shaw is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. We've been hearing that Manfred has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. and Side counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Side uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Shaw. As Shaw backs off Side throws a huge counter combo but Shaw manages to avoid it all. Side has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Shaw is landing a low percentage of strikes. Side has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Shaw. Side scores with a one two! Shaw had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. #CUT2#It looks like Danny Shaw has been cut. Side stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Shaw. Shaw throws a leg kick which misses Side's front leg but catches the back leg as Side tries to avoid it. Side will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Shaw appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Shaw paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Shaw misses the body punch and Side counters with a lovely straight right hand!#T1# Shaw tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Side is able to avoid easily. A nice side step and Side releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Shaw lands an overhand right. Side grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Shaw takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Side cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!

Shaw backing away here, and Marks unleashes a leg kick that just misses. Shaw scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Shaw has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Shinobi Martial Arts & Ninjutsu in the buildup to the fight. Marks throws a predictable looking body shot
#TD# and Shaw decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Marks's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Shaw wants to pass the guard but Marks is keeping the position. Marks looking to hit a scissor sweep but Shaw is one step ahead there. Shaw is looking to advance position but Marks has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!#REVB# We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. That sent Marks stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Marks cracks Shaw with an open hand slap. Shaw with a body punch. A glancing blow. Shaw thumps Marks with a low kick. Marks fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Shaw on the side of the head. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Shaw jabbing away but nothing is landing. Shaw takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Shaw was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.#T6# A bone on bone clash there as Shaw blocks the leg kick.

#R1# Shaw ducks under a wild hook from Temple. Horrible takedown attempt by Temple or perhaps it was just good defense by Shaw, which made it look bad. Shaw has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Shaw thuds his right hand into Temple's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Shaw lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Temple walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. A big right from Temple misses. Shaw throws a head kick that misses. Shaw throws a lazy uppercut
and Temple counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Shaw changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Temple's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Shaw connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! A swing and a miss from Hoisson. Hoisson tries to clinch but Roberts moves away and Roberts counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Hoisson swings widly with a right hand
and Roberts makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. A jab from Hoisson misses. Roberts attempts a counter takedown but Hoisson avoids it well and moves away. Roberts fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Hoisson has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Roberts looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Saebergur Hoisson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hoisson lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Hoisson throws a right and a left that both miss. Roberts swats away the attempt to clinch by Hoisson. Roberts misses with a straight right. Hoisson looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Hoisson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Hoisson wants to clinch up but Roberts keeps it at a distance.#T1# Hoisson lands a nice hook to Roberts's body. Roberts takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Underwood jabs Roberts to the body, keeping him at a distance. Underwood has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Roberts misses with an uppercut. Underwood scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Larry Underwood seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Roberts bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Roberts appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Underwood tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Roberts was well out of range. Poor timing from Underwood. Roberts was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Underwood changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Underwood tries to bum rush Roberts with a series of wild strikes but Roberts uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Roberts showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Underwood.
Roberts throws out a powerful jab. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Underwood looks to land a left hand but Roberts moved out of range nicely. Underwood throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

A low kick from Shaw lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Dragic has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Dragic and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Dragic unleashes a big counter combination but Shaw bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Shaw scores with a leg kick.
