#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Farva gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Farva throws a big shot that misses. Pietranico shoots in and drives through. Farva sprawls well. Farva appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Pietranico looks to land a body kick but Farva moved away. Pietranico tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Farva manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.#TD# Farva fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Pietranico sprawls well initially but Farva persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Farva throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Nice strikes from Farva there. Farva keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Pietranico won't allow Farva to pass to mount. #SUB# Farva looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
#SUB# Farva is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Pietranico doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Farva. #T1# Pietranico keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. #SUB# Farva is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Pietranico tries to get to full guard but Farva has control of the leg. #T2# Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Farva not doing much here.
#SUB# Farva is trying for a kimura here. Pietranico looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Farva wins by kimura!
