#R1# Gum keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.#CL2# Gum closes the distance and clinches.#TD2# Gum pulls guard effortlessly. Mubagy definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Mubagy sitting in guard, not really doing much. Mubagy slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mubagy takes a little break here. Gum wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Gum tries to improve position but can't. #T1# Mubagy is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Gum can do anything to dispel that myth. Mubagy advances to full mount. Mubagy takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Mubagy really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Gum is bucking up trying to escape but Mubagy cracks him with another couple of good strikes.#T2##SUB# Mubagy looking to isolate an arm here. Gum doesn't see it coming and as Mubagy extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Mubagy !

#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway!#CL# The fight moves into the clinch position. Gum displaying some good clinch control by pressing Pie up against the cage. Pie prevents the takedown attempt.
Gum tries for a takedown but Pie manages to get underhooks.
Gum is looking to take this one to the mat. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bubble Gum. That's going to take a lot out of him. Pie tries to break the clinch but Gum is controlling the position. Gum tries to pull guard but Pie forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Gum managing to block the knees to the body from Pie.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Gum as Pie tries to tie him up. #BC# Gum breaks from the clinch.
#TD2# Pie shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Gum's guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Pie tries to stand but Gum is controlling from the bottom. #T1# Pie content to stall in guard here. Pie working some strikes from top position. Pie advances to half guard. Pie takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Pie's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Gum knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Pie on the ground. Gum is looking to control Pie's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Gum avoid being mounted? Gum tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Pie has advanced to mount. Uh oh. #T2# Pie takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Gum takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Pie controlling his opponent. #T3# Gum is wriggling around trying to escape.
#SUB2# Pie working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Gum turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Pie off and cradles Gum's limp body as Pie celebrates with his corner.
