Pie wants to pass the guard but Stud is keeping the position.

Pie throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Stud works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Pie controlling from the top position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Stud pulls Pie in close to prevent any damage.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.#TD#
Pie feints and as Stud raises his hands in defense, Pie changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.#SUB#
Pie drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Pie jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Stud preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Pie might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Pie postures up and lands a big shot to Stud's brow.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Pie accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Stud can do anything to dispel that myth.

Stud really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Pie. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Stud misses with a straight right.
Stud closes the distance and clinches up with Pie, looking for a takedown. Stud pushes Pie against the cage but Pie circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Stud looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Pie is fending him off so far but Stud persists. Nope, Pie circles away and we're back to standing.
Blueberry Pie has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Johnny Stud.
Stud tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Pie paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Pie appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Pie throws an overhand right that lands on Stud's shoulder, as Stud tries to avoid the shot. #TD#
Pie shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Pie was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Stud controls the position for a moment.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Pie lands a decent elbow from side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Blueberry Pie dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.#R2#
Stud avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Stud wants to clinch.
Blueberry Pie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.#TD2#
Stud shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Stud thows a huge punch but Pie dodges it nicely.

Stud throws a sloppy strike and Pie has hooked up an armbar on the loose arm! He's turned and extended fully! Stud is forced to tap! Great BJJ from Pie!
