Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Salvacion uses from the top position. Salvacion wants to control from the top but Aristo keeps moving. Aristo trying to control the position here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#T1# Salvacion trying to stand up but can't free himself from Aristo's guard. #T4# Sloppy strikes from Aristo. Those never looked like landing. A countering left hand to the body from Salvacion misses. Salvacion tries to clinch up. Salvacion displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Aristo. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jose Aristo. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nice takedown defense from Salvacion. No joy for Aristo on that attempt. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Aristo tries to bum rush Salvacion with a series of wild strikes but Salvacion uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Aristo will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Salvacion tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Aristo swivels and escapes. Aristo throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

This is the final round!#R3# Aristo throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Aristo lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Salvacion circles away quickly and effectively. Salvacion tries to clinch but Aristo is having none of it. Aristo changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Salvacion is looking to clinch. #CL2# Salvacion moves into the clinch. Salvacion seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Aristo does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Aristo is pressing down on Salvacion's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Aristo looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Aristo managing to control the position. Salvacion wants to control from the top but Aristo keeps moving. #REF3# The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.#T3# Salvacion is looking to clinch but Aristo is avoiding it.

As Salvacion tries to get set, Aristo tries to push him back and clinch up but Salvacion manages to avoid the attempt. Alexis Salvacion has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!#BC# Aristo breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Salvacion slaps away a takedown attempt from Aristo, before circling back to the center of the mat. A nice side step and Salvacion releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
And that's the end of the fight! Jose Aristo showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Aristo, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
