Simmeon manages to break the clinch.
A jab lands there for Ferro.
Ferro misses with a takedown attempt - Simmeon sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Ferro.
A little jabbing left from Simmeon on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Simmeon should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Ferro fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Simmeon avoids it really well and circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mikkel Ferro. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ferro shoots for a double leg takedown but Simmeon sprawls well. He's pushed Ferro's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Ferro takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Ferro wants to take the fight to the mat but Simmeon manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Simmeon creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Ferro is breathing heavily.
Ferro has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Ferro blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Simmeon tries to throw a body punch but Ferro avoids it by throwing Simmeon back against the cage.

A head punch blocked on the inside by Ferro.
Simmeon gets through Ferro's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Simmeon breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Simmeon lands with an uppercut that bounces Ferro off the cage and back into range.
This has been an exciting period of action!
