The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reis closes the distance but Jean moves to the side #TD#
and Jean counters with a single leg into guard. Reis didn't expect that.
Reis is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Jean dives into side control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jean tries to move to mount but Reis blocks the move with his legs.
Reis wants to get back to his feet but Jean drags him back down.
Reis is looking for a sweep.
Reis wants to control but Jean postures up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jean is looking to take a break and control but Reis is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Jean trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Reis tries to lock up and control but Jean gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Reis might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Jean haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.#SUB#
Reis reaches up to try and pull Jean in and control his posture, but Jean latches on to an arm and pivots quickly for an armbar! Reis taps out and this one is all over!
