Chan changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gabel tries to avoid it but Chan manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gabel to the ground. Gabel escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
We've been told by Gabel's head coaches at DK MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Gabel throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Magrath leaves Chan with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

and Magrath counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Jaxon Magrath has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Xin Chan.
Horrible takedown attempt by Chan or perhaps it was just good defense by Magrath, which made it look bad.
Magrath works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Magrath, as that shot connected.
Magrath throws a pinpoint strike between Chan's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Chan crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Magrath scores a great knockout victory!
