Lawler misses with a takedown attempt - Muramato sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Muramato lands a nice shot to the body.
Lawler dives in for a single leg takedown but Muramato sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Muramato scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Muramato displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Lawler.
Tekashi Muramato has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Robbie Lawler.
Muramato's jab looks to have found its range, popping Lawler under the eye.
Lawler goes for a double leg but Muramato avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Muramato continues to drive forward.
Muramato works over Lawler's head and body with a nice combination.
Muramato scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Williams is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Lawler has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Williams is looking to defend but Lawler has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Williams! Lawler pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Williams taps out and this one is all over!

Lawler working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Wheeler doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Wheeler manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pepe keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Pepe was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Robbie Lawler seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lawler with a lazy takedown attempt
and Pepe counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Lawler changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Pepe tries to avoid it but Lawler manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Pepe to the ground. Pepe escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Don Pepe has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Robbie Lawler.
