Suroor slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. De Qfc loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. De Qfc slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. #T1# De Qfc missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. De Qfc sitting in guard here, content to control. De Qfc throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. #REF3# The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Suroor slips a jab from De Qfc. As De Qfc tries to get set, Suroor tries to push him back and clinch up but De Qfc manages to avoid the attempt. De Qfc misses with a low kick as Suroor jumps back. Suroor wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.#T2# The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.#TD2# De Qfc shoots in for a takedown from distance. #R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! De Qfc connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. #TD2# MacArthur shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. De Qfc is trying to defend but MacArthur finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. MacArthur controlling the pace. De Qfc wants to get back to full guard. MacArthur wants to pass to mount but De Qfc is defending the position. #SUB# De Qfc looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.#SUB2# MacArthur is working for a kimura but De Qfc is defending it quite comfortably.

De Qfc is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control. MacArthur is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down De Qfc's shoulder. That is not cool. #SUB2# MacArthur looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. MacArthur happy to just control the position for now. De Qfc tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - MacArthur cranks the arm and De Qfc screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from De Qfc, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

De Qfc is looking to land body kicks.#TD2# Mcbasketball shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Mcbasketball showed some decent athleticism there. Mcbasketball works his foot free and advances to mount. De Qfc wants to hold on but Mcbasketball pushes him away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mcbasketball tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. De Qfc tries to get back to half guard but can't. #T1# Mcbasketball controlling his opponent. De Qfc really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Mcbasketball content just to control the position here. Mcbasketball avoids the attempt from De Qfc to control. De Qfc manages to reverse the position and now he's in Mcbasketball's guard. Nice work there by De Qfc.
De Qfc trying to control the position from guard on top but Mcbasketball is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. #T4# De Qfc is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Mcbasketball is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. De Qfc stands up over Mcbasketball, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! De Qfc trying to control but Mcbasketball is working from the bottom. De Qfc showing good wrestling skills to control the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
