Diaz jumps guard but Firebrand stands there with Diaz around his waist. Diaz gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Diaz has hold of one of Firebrand's legs. Firebrand is fighting the takedown attempt but Diaz gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.#SUB2#
Diaz drops back looking for a leg! Firebrand is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Firebrand manages to kick Diaz off! Diaz jumps back into Firebrand's guard. #SUB2#

Gunthark Firebrand seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Diaz shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Firebrand pinned against the cage. Firebrand gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Gunthark Firebrand has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Miguel Diaz.
Diaz looks winded!
Firebrand drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Diaz's head, knocking him out cold! Firebrand is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.
