The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Qfc connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. #TD2#
MacArthur shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. De Qfc is trying to defend but MacArthur finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
MacArthur controlling the pace.
De Qfc wants to get back to full guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
De Qfc is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
MacArthur is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down De Qfc's shoulder. That is not cool. #SUB2#

MacArthur has hold of De Qfc's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! De Qfc tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - MacArthur cranks the arm and De Qfc screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from De Qfc, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

MacArthur shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
MacArthur is thwarting Hoklue's attempts to control the position.
MacArthur keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Hoklue won't allow MacArthur to pass to mount.
MacArthur stalling.
MacArthur has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

MacArthur is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Hoklue can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

MacArthur throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Hoklue has his hands clasped together but MacArthur breaks the hold and Hoklue is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by MacArthur!
