The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frake stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Frake wants it to stay on the feet.
Frake throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Cruise counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Frake has his hands on Cruise's head, controlling the position.
Cruise trying to control the position from guard on top but Frake is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Frake controlling Cruise's posture.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Frake is on top in guard.

Frake wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Cruise's closed guard. He's half up but Cruise has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Cruise pivots and extends the arm, Frake falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Cruise! Well done that man!
