Bravo feinted with a counter takedown. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Silva.#CL2# Silva clinches with his opponent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Silva can't find room to land a body shot as Bravo controls the action.
Bravo tries for a takedown but Silva manages to get underhooks.
#TD2# Silva is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Bravo can't fight it off and eventually Silva manages to take the fight to the floor. Bravo looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.#SUB# Bravo looking for a guillotine here but Silva defends easily.

Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. #SUB# Bravo has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Silva is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Bravo.#T2# Bravo is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Silva off and has taken his back!#SUB# Silva defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Bravo's arms. Silva trying to control the action but Bravo just sinks the hooks in. #SUB# Bravo is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Silva defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. Bravo lands with a hammerfist to the side of Silva's head. Silva wants to escape the position.
Silva keeps trying to improve his position.#T3# The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Silva is taking damage to the body and head. #SUB# Bravo patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here? Bravo is punishing Silva with some ground and pound. #SUB# Bravo has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Silva has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Bravo wants to control but Silva is keeping busy. Silva wants to escape the position.
Bravo lands a shot to the head. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bravo landing with strikes. #SUB# Bravo is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Silva has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Bravo has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Silva taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Bravo doesn't care though - he's delighted!

#R1# We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Banner swings away with a body shot that misses
#TD2# and Bravo decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Banner 's guard. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Bravo working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.#SUB# Bravo got a little sloppy there for a moment and Banner has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bravo has managed to get both his arms back between Banner 's legs - danger averted. Bravo working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. #SUB2# Bravo drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Bravo jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Bravo connects with a couple of short punches.#SUB# Banner is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Bravo defends well.#SUB# Banner looking for a guillotine here but Bravo defends easily.

Bravo advances to half guard. #SUB# Banner is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Bravo pulls his head out easily. Banner is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. #SUB2# Bravo is trying to work for a kimura but Banner is defending well.

Bravo with the counter takedown but Banner avoids it easily. Bravo closes the distance but Banner moves to the side and Bravo takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Bravo is still on wobbly legs! Can Banner finish him?#T2# Bravo takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Bravo seems to have recovered his senses. Banner connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Bravo momentarily.
Banner misses with a straight right. Bravo drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Banner defends it well. Banner tries to work over Bravo's front leg with a kick but Bravo checks it. Bravo with the counter takedown but Banner avoids it easily. Bravo tries for a takedown but Banner sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.#T3# A looping hook to the body misses from Banner . Bravo does a little dance to reset his feet. And Bravo tries to counter it with a takedown but Banner pushes his down on his head and steps out. Bravo with a lazy takedown attempt letting Banner counter with a right hand. Lamont Banner has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Eddie Bravo. Banner looks to land a right hand but Bravo moved out of range. Bravo feints the counter takedown. Bravo darts in looking for a takedown but Banner gets double underhooks and turns Bravo into the cage. Banner wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Banner connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.#T4# Banner throws a series of punches but Bravo moves out of range. It seemed like Bravo was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Banner throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Bravo lands a nice shot to the body.
Bravo gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Banner gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!

Bravo takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Stepan Grachev seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Grachev throws a nice looking combination but Bravo bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Bravo feinted with a counter takedown. Grachev is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Bravo rather than just go for the knockout.#T1# Bravo takes a solid shot to the body. McDonnell is looking for a sweep.#SUB# Bravo looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Futeran stuns Bravo with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Futeran feints a jab promting Bravo to slip. Futeran then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Bravo slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Bravo checks the leg kick nicely there.

Rico HC seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. HC shoots in for a takedown but Bravo shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Bravo feinted with a counter takedown. HC shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Bravo pinned against the cage. Bravo gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Bravo tries to counter with a takedown but HC is quick to defend against it. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#TD2# HC feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown.
