Warrior lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Jenkins misses with a takedown and Jenkins takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Jenkins misses with a right hand and Warrior connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Jenkins tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Warrior is able to avoid easily. Warrior lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Jenkins misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Jenkins misses with a takedown attempt - Warrior sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Despite the aggression on Warrior's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jenkins tries a head kick but it misses.

Warrior lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Jenkins backwards. Warrior content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Jenkins misses with a hook from the clinch. The referee is keeping an eye on Warrior - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Both fighters working to control the clinch. Jenkins drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Warrior gets the underhooks and prevents it.

#R1# Jenkins throws a hook to the side of Catartes's head but Catartes sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Catartes! But no joy. Jenkins has his takedown stuffed and Catartes cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Catartes just misses with a punch to the body.
Jenkins dips to his left and cracks Catartes with an uppercut! Catartes with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Jenkins throws out a token jab with nothing on it. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Catartes! But no joy. Jenkins throws out a leg kick but Catartes moves out of range and Jenkins only half commits. Catartes throws a series of punches but Jenkins moves out of range. Catartes scores with a sloppy right hand. Jenkins should have avoided that one. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jenkins takes a swing at Catartes's ribcage but misses. We've been informed that Catartes has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Jenkins missing with a left hand there. Catartes was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Jenkins looks for a takedown but Catartes sprawls well. Catartes will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Jenkins trying to hold on to Johns's head to control him but Johns postures up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#T1##SUB2# Jenkins looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Jenkins landing small, sideways elbows. Johns is taking a breather. Jenkins says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Jenkins is looking for a sweep. Johns is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.#REF3# The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.#T2# Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
