#R1# Parker tries to bum rush Mama with a series of wild strikes but Mama uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Parker comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Parker loads up on a big right hand but Mama slips the punch. And Mama responds with a good body kick, but Parker manages to step out the way in time. Parker cracks a nice hook into Mama's ribs. Parker keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Parker throws a looping overhand right but Mama ducks down to avoid it. #TD2# Mama shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Parker has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Mama is working away from the top position though.#SUB# Parker actively working from the bottom here.#SUB2# Mama is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Parker is just riding it out for now. Mama eventually gives up the hold. #T2# There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Mama is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Mama tries to pass to full mount but Parker defends it. Parker is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Parker makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Parker. Parker looking to hit a scissor sweep but Mama is one step ahead there. #R1# A jab from Kloff misses. Kloff throws a leg kick #TD# and Mama counters with a takedown into side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#SUB# Mama is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Kloff knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Kloff is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Mama asserts his dominance and retains side control. Kloff is looking for a sweep. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kloff is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Mama has just dragged him back down to the mat. Mama tries to score with some ground and pound. Kloff controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Kloff is trying to control Mama's posture but Mama avoids it. Mama has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.#T1# Mama prevents Kloff from escaping the position. Kloff struggling a bit here.#SUB# Kloff wants to improve his position, back to half guard but Mama has ideas of his own. He's got hold of Kloff's far side arm and it looks like he's got an Americana. Ohh! Ohhhh! OOOOOOOOOH! A human being's arm is not meant to bend like that! Kloff is tapping like a morse code operator on the Titanic! SOS SOS! He's out of here! Great win for Mama!

#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Incons throws a jab when Mama was well out of range. Mama with the counter takedown but Incons avoids it easily. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Incons, as that shot connected.
#TD2# Mama darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Incons wants to get back to his feet.

#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cook throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mama's waist but Mama gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Cook off to one side. Cook tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Mama swivels and escapes. Mama feinted with a counter takedown. Cook has a takedown stuffed. Joe Mama has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Robert Cook. Mama tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Cook defends well and Mama ends up having to push Cook into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Robert Cook seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.#CL2# Cook rushes Mama and presses him up against the cage.#TD# Mama gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Cook regains guard.
#ES2# Cook pushes Mama off and scrambles back to his feet.

Mama attempts a counter takedown but Cook avoids it well and moves away. Cook shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Mama but Mama pushes him off and we're back to square one. Mama quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.#T1# Cook shoots in for a double leg but Mama sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Mama appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Cook throws a body kick, spinning off balance#TD# so Mama counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Cook is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Mama dives into side control.
#REVB##SU# Mama stands up and beckons Cook to his feet. Mama gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily #CL2# and Cook counters by clinching up. Mama goes for a takedown in the clinch but Cook prevents it.

Mama has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Cook down to the mat. Cook avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Cook with a poor takedown #TD# and Mama counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Mama is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Mama avoids the attempt from Cook to control. Cook looks winded! Mama is looking to stand but Cook has his arms wrapped tightly around him, looking to prevent the damage.

Nakano pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.#TD# Mama throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Nakano was covering up waiting for the punch and Mama finishes the takedown easily into guard. Mama will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Nakano not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mama wants to control from the top but Nakano keeps moving. Nakano is adopting a defensive guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mama looking to pass the guard. #T1##SUB2# Nakano has his foot on Mama's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Mama works his way back into a safe position though. Mama stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Nakano swivels though and keeps the full guard. Nakano wants to stand and escape but Mama is having none of it. Mama is looking to work some ground and pound but Nakano has wrist control. Nakano keeping moving, preventing Mama from controlling successfully. Mama has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Nakano is proving hard to escape from. #REF3# The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.#CL2# Nakano clinches with his opponent.
#T2# The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.#BC2# Nakano breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. #CL2# Mama tries to keep at a distance but Nakano has taken the fight into the clinch. Nakano swings wildly with an uppercut but Mama uses good head movement to avoid it. Nakano is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Nakano fails to pull guard.
#TD# Mama is trying to trip Nakano. He has hold of a leg but Nakano is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Mama persists though and gets the takedown into guard.#SUB2# Nakano is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Mama is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. #REVR# Nakano regains full guard. Nicely done. Nakano looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Mama puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Nakano manages to get to full guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Mama is looking to pass into half guard but Nakano pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Nakano is in guard.#REVB# And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
