Popkov lands with a hook. Reilly tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Reilly attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Reilly buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Ian Reilly seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Reilly swings away with a leg kick that misses.
A little feinted left hand from Popkov on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Reilly scores with a jab.
Reilly chopping away at his opponent's legs.
The fighters circling - Popkov throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Popkov wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Reilly is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Popkov, as that shot connected.

Reilly throws a leg kick which misses Popkov's front leg but catches the back leg as Popkov tries to avoid it.

Popkov throws a lazy right hand but Reilly sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Popkov is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

Reilly lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Popkov moves out of range of the body kick.
Reilly walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

enabling Popkov to counter with a crisp jab.
Popkov circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Reilly to the canvas! Reilly doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Popkov keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

Reilly feints and then cracks Clarkson's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Clarkson down.
Reilly throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Clarkson's head.
Clarkson takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Clarkson takes one to the side of the head.
A low kick lands for Reilly.
Reilly moves away from the strike by Clarkson.
Reilly connects with a high kick.

Clarkson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Reilly as he avoids it easily.

Clarkson closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Clarkson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Reilly keeps working.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Clarkson thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
We've been hearing good reports from Clarkson's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Clarkson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Reilly keeps working.

Clarkson is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Reilly looks calm but he's in trouble here. Clarkson gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Reilly is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Clarkson lets go of the hold and Reilly can pop his arm back in it's socket.

King on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Reilly lands a head kick. King smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

King chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Reilly can pounce on him.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from King.
King walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

King tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Reilly swivels and escapes.

King tries to clinch up.
King is still on wobbly legs! Can Reilly finish him?
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! King crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Reilly - the referee stops the clock and King gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Reilly. King manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
King seems to have recovered his senses.
King gets cracked there but stands up to it.
A good leg kick by Reilly.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Reilly throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Reilly gets in close and tags King with a short punch that almost sends King to the mat! Oh King is in big trouble! He turns his back on Reilly, trying to create some distance but Reilly rushes him, striking wildly and King goes down! The referee tackles Reilly into the cage to end the fight! Reilly is one violent man!

Ian Reilly was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
Jason King was interviewed post fight and said 'Major respect to my opponent, we both came ti battle and he was the better man tonight'.

Gunny postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Reilly covers up, he's hurt! Gunny keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Gunny and the ref steps in to end the fight! Gunny can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
