#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Xavier lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Brixon works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.#CUT2#It looks like Don Xavier has been cut. Brixon works Xavier's body with a nice hook. Brixon throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Brixon tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Xavier was well out of range. Poor timing from Brixon. Brixon throws a nice outside leg kick. Xavier displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Brixon. Brixon pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Xavier steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Brixon. Xavier looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Brixon is fending him off so far but Xavier persists. Nope, Brixon circles away and we're back to standing. Brixon looks to throw the jab but Xavier is out of range. #TD2# Excellent takedown into side control there by Brixon. #ROC2#Xavier is rocked! In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Brixon working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though. This has been an exciting period of action! Brixon in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Xavier looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Brixon turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jack Brixon! Jack Brixon tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool. |

#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brixon lands a nice shot that snaps Xavier's head back.
#CUT2#It looks like Don Xavier has been cut. Xavier misses with a takedown attempt #CL2# and Brixon moves into the clinch. Xavier missing with knees to the body.
Xavier swings away with an uppercut that misses.
#BC2# Brixon's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Brixon throws a low kick but it's checked well by Xavier. Xavier takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Brixon throws an overhand right that drops Xavier like a sack of potatoes! Brixon dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jack Brixon! Jack Brixon bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it. |
