Carlos works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Carlos working the ground and pound. Chimaev is trying to buck Carlos off. Chimaev is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Carlos off and has taken his back! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Carlos manages to reverse the position and now he's in Chimaev's guard. Nice work there by Carlos.

Shimada keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Chimaev's efforts to push away. Chimaev has Shimada pushed against the cage. Shimada misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Chimaev.

And that's the end of the fight! Khabib Chimaev comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Chimaev has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Kimber just content to control the position. Chimaev is trying to improve his position.#SUB# Kimber tries for a kimura but Chimaev is defending well. #SUB# Kimber is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Chimaev is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. You can see the frustration on Chimaev's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Kimber has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Chimaev tries to buck Kimber off but Kimber is having none of it.#T1##SUB# Kimber has hold of Chimaev's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Chimaev seems comfortable defending it but Kimber has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Chimaev is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Chimaev is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Kimber couldn't care less - he's delighted!

#R1# Chimaev throws a right and a left that both miss. We've been hearing reports that Hughes has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Chimaev connects with a jab. Hughes throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Chimaev shoots in looking for a takedown but Hornby manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Chimaev's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Chimaev looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Chimaev throws a jab when Hornby was well out of range. Hornby shoots in but no luck this time. Chimaev fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Khabib Chimaev. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hornby scores with a shot to the body.

He's got his arms around Chimaev's waist but Chimaev gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hornby off to one side. A little feinted left hand from Chimaev on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Hornby connects with a jab. Hornby misses with a two punch combination.
Chimaev throws a right and a left that Hornby avoids nicely. #TD# Chimaev closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Hornby to the mat! Hornby manages to get full guard. #ES2# The fighters are working up against the cage. Hornby manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Chimaev drops down looking for an ankle pick but Hornby pulls his leg out and moves away.
