Viden looks for a takedown but Le Grand sprawls well.
Viden takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Le Grand scores with a kick to the midsection.
Viden shoots for a takedown but Le Grand saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Viden wants to clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Le Grand feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Videns jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Le Grand throws a head kick but Malone moves out of range.
Malone throws a big counter combination but Le Grand scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Malone jabs at Le Grand's body.
Le Grand takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Malone pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Le Grand throws a sloppy head kick and Malone moves out of range easily.
Le Grand keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Le Grand swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Le Grand paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Le Grand takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Downtown Malone seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Malone chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Le Grand can pounce on him.

Ryan Ingle really struggled with his weight cut for this fight. After coming in at 190.4, he had two hours to cut the additional weight. He was unable to do so and as a result, his fight with Mack Le Grand was cancelled. |
