#R1# Magnifico shoots in looking for a takedown but Stephen manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Magnifico's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Magnifico fails with the takedown#TD# and Stephen counters with a single leg into guard. Magnifico didn't expect that. Stephen will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Stephen wants to stand and escape but instead Magnifico has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. #REVB# Magnifico wants to pass the guard but Stephen is keeping the position. Stephen really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Magnifico trying to control the position from guard on top but Stephen is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Magnifico working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Magnifico seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Magnifico must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Magnifico postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. #T2# Magnifico sitting in guard, not really doing much. #R1# Magnifico checks a low kick from Assuncao.#TD2# Magnifico shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Assuncao is trying to defend but Magnifico finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Magnifico trying to control from half guard but Assuncao is working away. Magnifico winds up and cracks Assuncao with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Magnifico prevents Assuncao from improving his position. Magnifico not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Magnifico is looking to advance position but Assuncao won't allow it. Magnifico working the head and body with strikes. Assuncao is staying active underneath Magnifico, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Magnifico working Assuncao over with strikes. #T1# Magnifico wants to control but Assuncao is keeping him busy. Assuncao is looking to control Magnifico's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Assuncao avoid being mounted? Magnifico thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Assuncao's head. Magnifico thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Magnifico is taking a breather. Assuncao says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Magnifico takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Magnifico is trying to control. Assuncao wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. #SUB2# Magnifico trying to work for an americana but Assuncao has managed to regain full guard.
Magnifico working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Assuncao's head. Magnifico works a leg free and moves into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#T2# Assuncao trying to control but Magnifico postures up.
Assuncao regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Magnifico. Assuncao keeping moving, preventing Magnifico from controlling successfully. Magnifico lands a couple of decent looking shots. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Magnifico distracts Assuncao with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.#ROC2#Assuncao is rocked! Magnifico works over Assuncao with some ground and pound from guard. Oh Assuncao is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Assuncao is breathing heavily. Magnifico postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Assuncao covers up, he's hurt! Magnifico keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Magnifico and the ref steps in to end the fight! Magnifico can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.

#R1##TD2# Magnifico shoots in and gets a takedown into Vico's guard. Vico wants to sweep here but Magnifico controlling him for the moment. Magnifico with a nice head shot there. Magnifico slips nicely into half guard. Magnifico wants to control but Vico is keeping him busy. Vico is trying to control but can't.
Magnifico thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Vico's head. Magnifico working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Vico trying to control here.
Magnifico is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Vico! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Magnifico lands a nice shot to the head. Magnifico connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Vico is in a horrible position here. Magnifico smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Magnifico tries to keep control of the position but Vico is staying busy. Magnifico gets his hooks in and is throwing strikes. #ROC2#Vico is rocked! Magnifico lands a good shot there. Vico covers up! Magnifico smells blood and goes for the finish - the referee warns Vico to improve his position but he's not intelligently defending himself and the referee has no choice but to step in and end the fight! Magnifico jumps to his feet and celebrates the important win with his cornermen!
