Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Moss shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Chimaev as he avoids it easily.
Chimaev goes for a double leg but Moss avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Moss continues to drive forward.
Chimaev jumps guard but Moss stands there with Chimaev around his waist. Chimaev gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
I was talking to Chimaev's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Khamzat Chimaev. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Chimaev is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Moss is defending well for now.

It looked like Chimaev was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Khamzat Chimaev.
Well Chimaev has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
