Starline takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Sloppy strikes from Starline. Those never looked like landing. Rourke seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.#KD2# Oooooh!!! Starline has knocked Rourke down with a huge combo! Starline steps away and waves a wobbly Rourke back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!#ROC2#Rourke is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Starline fails to land with a series of punches.
Oh Rourke is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! A chopping leg kick lands by Starline. Starline misses with a double jab
#TD# and Rourke counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Starline! Rourke seems to have got his legs back now. A lull in the action here as Rourke stalls from top position. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Starline can do anything to dispel that myth. Rourke works to advance to full mount. Starline defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Rourke controlling the position easily from mount. #T1# Rourke's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. It looked like Rourke was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Starline scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Starline thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Rourke to his feet! Rourke is in big trouble! Starline cracks Rourke on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Rourke falls backwards against the cage. Starline follows up with more strikes that drop Rourke to his knees. Starline keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Rourke! This one is all over!

#R1# Rourke takes a body punch but keeps moving. We've been hearing reports that Rourke has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Steel scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Steel's coach down at CHECKMATE PRIME MMA was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Steel's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.#KD2# Steel waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Rourke. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Rourke to the canvas! Can he finish him!?
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Steel wants to pass the guard but Rourke is keeping the position. Steel must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Steel keeps trying to improve his position. Steel is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Rourke thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Rourke can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Steel controls the pace.#T1# The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.#REF3# The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Rourke takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Rourke wants to clinch and Steel counters with a huge overhand right that connects right on the temple, sending him crumpling, face first to the floor! This one is all over! What a knockout!

Goebbels throws a right hand that Rourke ducks under and follows up with a left that Rourke also avoids with ease.#KD# Oooh a lovely combination from Goebbels sends Rourke down but not out. Goebbels dives into side control looking to finish. #ROC#Rourke is rocked!#CUT#It looks like Andrew Rourke has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Rourke is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Rourke is still in real trouble! Can Goebbels finish him?#SU# Goebbels decides to stand up, so the ref orders Rourke to his feet. Rourke shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Goebbels but Goebbels pushes him off and we're back to square one. Rourke seems to have recovered his senses. Rourke throws a lazy uppercut
and Goebbels counters with a stiff jab, followed by a cross and an uppercut! That's too much punishment for Rourke to take - he tumbles to the canvas, blood pouring from his nose, barely conscious. That's the end of the fight! Great knockout by Goebbels!

Taphi works over Rourke with some ground and pound from guard. Rourke wants to stand and escape but Taphi is having none of it. Rourke keeping moving, preventing Taphi from controlling successfully. Taphi looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Rourke wants to stand but Taphi is controlling the position. Taphi sitting in guard here, content to control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rourke working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Taphi. #T1# Rourke pulls Taphi in to control the position. Taphi working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. #REF3# The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. No luck for Rourke with that takedown attempt. #TD2# Taphi throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Rourke tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Taphi is in Rourke's guard. Rourke scrambles and gets back to his feet.

Rourke tries to score a power double leg takedown but Gelvin sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Rourke somewhat.#CL# Rourke clinches. Hunky wants to stand and escape but Rourke is having none of it. Rourke is stalling in the full guard. #SUB2# Hunky is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Rourke has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Hunky lands with a heel strike from the guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hunky throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Hunky has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Rourke is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Rourke has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Rourke's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans.
