McPartlin shoots in for a takedown but Anacoreta shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Anacoreta drops down looking for a counter takedown but McPartlin sprawls and moves away.
McPartlin dives in and grabs Anacoreta's left leg, looking for a takedown. Anacoreta pushes down on McPartlin's head and hops out.

Anacoreta closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
McPartlin tries to kick Anacoreta off in order to stand up. Anacoreta Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.

Anacoreta is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt McPartlin will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Tom McPartlin had a terrible time trying to make weight. After initially coming in at 174.7, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. Stepping on the scales for a second time, he still failed to make the required weight and after much deliberation, his fight with Adam Heard was cancelled. |
