You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Toguchi fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Avildsen avoids it really well and circles away. Satou Toguchi is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Avildsen throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
A head kick by Toguchi misses #CL2# and Avildsen counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Avildsen tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Toguchi avoids it.#BC2# Avildsen breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
#CL2# Avildsen clinches up against the cage. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Avildsen tries to pull guard but Toguchi holds him up against the cage and eventually Avildsen drops back down to his feet.
Satou Toguchi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Snake Avildsen. Toguchi blocks an uppercut.
