Hernandez tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Poirier is in Hernandez's guard. Poirier is pushing down on Hernandez's leg trying to pass to half guard. Hernandez is fighting to maintain full guard but Poirier has managed to sneak the leg through. Hernandez is looking to control Poirier's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Hernandez avoid being mounted? Hernandez is trying to stand up here but Poirier is controlling him well. Hernandez on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Hernandez is controlling Poirier's trapped leg to prevent Poirier from advancing to side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Baked prevents Hernandez from escaping the position. Hernandez is trying to improve his position. Baked lands some shots froms side control. Hernandez is looking to reverse the position. Baked lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Hernandez down.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SU2# Baked decides to stand back up. Baked steps back and let's Hernandez get back to his feet. Baked takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Hernandez swinging wildly here.

#ROC#Kagawa is rocked! Kagawa thows a left - swing and a miss! Hernandez is looking to counter the offense by Kagawa and move into the clinch. Kagawa is still on wobbly legs! Can Hernandez finish him? Hernandez connects with a body shot that sends Kagawa's belly button to the back. Hernandez connects with a nice cross there... Kagawa is looking wobbly and Hernandez recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Kagawa to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Hernandez jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
