We've been hearing reports that IronSide has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. A combination from IronSide does no damage. A head kick misses from Volkov. Volkov looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.#CL# Volkov gets tackled into the cage by IronSide. IronSide maintains the clinch. #TD# IronSide has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Volkov regains guard immediately. IronSide tries to free his leg and advance position but Volkov is retaining full guard. Volkov working a defensive guard but IronSide passes into half guard.

IronSide has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Volkov after a bit of a struggle. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#BC2# IronSide breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Volkov gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily #TD2# and IronSide counters with a nice double leg into side control. Volkov won't be happy with that. #R1# Volkov gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Volkov takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. A head kick misses from Volkov. Bouglas pounces like a tiger and cracks Volkov with a vicious hook! Volkov is down but not out! Bouglas follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Duster Bouglas! Duster Bouglas decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way. |

#R1# Volkov fails with the takedown#CL# and Bosanac counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Bosanac lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Volkov fails to pull guard.
Bosanac lands a left hand that snaps the head of Volkov backwards. #BC# Bosanac escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Volkov on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Bosanac scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Volkov needs to keep his hands up - Bosanac had a free shot at his head there. Bosanac tests Volkov's chin there with a solid looking shot. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! BOOM! Bosanac lands a beautiful left hook that drops Volkov. Volkov tries to recover but Bosanac is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Volkov lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Newtron lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Newtron misses with a two punch combination.
Volkov takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Volkov tries for a takedown but Newtron sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Volkov shoots in for a takedown but Newtron shows good takedown defense. Volkov looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Jimmy Newtron has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Viktor Volkov. Newtron lands a body shot.
