Fortin jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Hunt walks away with a smile on his face. Fortin gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Fortin's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Hunt connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Fortin scrambles back to his feet.
Fortin throws a head kick but Hunt moves out of range.
A quick step to the side and Hunt tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Fortin lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Hunt circles away quickly and effectively.
Hunt misses with an uppercut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fortin feints a jab promting Hunt to slip. Fortin then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Hunt slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Pierre Fortin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hunt fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Fortin manages to avoid it.
Fortin tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Hunt manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Hunt swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.

Hunt feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Fortin sprawling to the canvas! Fortin rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Hunt finish him?!
Hunt finds Fortin's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Fortin flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Hunt lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Fortin will be OK.
