A quick step to the side and Reefer tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. Reefer has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Primal Concrete Gym in the buildup to the fight. Shamrock uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Reefer.
Shamrock looks to score with a jab to the body but Reefer is just out of range. A nice inside leg kick there by Reefer. That's going to slow Shamrock down. Reefer with the inside leg kick. A head kick by Shamrock misses and Reefer finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. A decent looking cross lands there for Reefer. Shamrock throws a right and a left that Reefer avoids nicely. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Shamrock connects with a single shot there. Shamrock is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Reefer. Shamrock throws a shot from downtown. Reefer moves away and avoids it. Shamrock blocks a jab.#T1# Reefer moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Shamrock throws a jab but it's blocked by Reefer. Shamrock takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Good standup being displayed there by Shamrock as he connects with a hook. Reefer moves away from the strike by Shamrock. Reefer lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off. Shamrock throws the left hand but Reefer avoids the punch easily. Reefer throws a wild body kick that Shamrock sees coming a mile off. Reefer clobbers Shamrock with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with each other but Shamrock might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Reefer has got the better of the exchanges. It connects and Shamrock has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Reefer fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Good shot there by Reefer. Reefer sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Shamrock's defenses. It connects perfectly with Shamrock's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!

#R1# Shamrock takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Shamrock ducks under a wild hook from Richardson. Shamrock on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Richardson slips a straight right by Shamrock. Richardson throws a jab when Shamrock was well out of range. A counter left hand to the body from Shamrock misses its target. Richardson slips under a jab. Richardson cracks Shamrock with a good jab. Richardson has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Shamrock is landing a low percentage of strikes. Shamrock takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Richardson misses the shot to the body. Shamrock misses with a looping left. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Richardson! But no joy. Richardson tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Shamrock manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Shamrock takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. A looping hook to the body misses from Richardson. Shamrock does a little dance to reset his feet. A little feinted left hand from Shamrock on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Shamrock misses with a left hand and Shamrock takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. This has been an exciting period of action! Richardson punishes Shamrock's body with a nice straight punch. Shamrock misses the shot to the body. Liddell dives in for a single leg takedown but Shamrock sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Shamrock lands with a light punch inside. #ROC2#Liddell is rocked! Shamrock lands a big knee! That's hurt Liddell! Oh, he's all over the place! Shamrock lands another knee that sends Liddell to the floor and the referee steps in to end the fight!

#R1# Shamrock leaves Broadaxe with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Shamrock stuffs the takedown attempt from Broadaxe. Broadaxe gets slowly back to his feet. Shamrock is looking for the big counter here. Broadaxe throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Shamrock's waist but Shamrock gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Broadaxe off to one side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dwalin Broadaxe. That's going to take a lot out of him.#TD# Broadaxe drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Shamrock tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck. Broadaxe looking to finish Shamrock with some ground and pound. This is bad for Shamrock! Shamrock tries to buck Broadaxe off but he can't manage it. Broadaxe connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Broadaxe moves nicely into side control. Broadaxe connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Shamrock some visible discomfort.

He's almost out here... but no, Broadaxe gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
And that's the end of the fight! Dwalin Broadaxe showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Broadaxe, winning every round. Will the judges agree? Hanma is looking to counter the offense by Shamrock and move into the clinch. Hanma connects with a good right hand that stumbles Shamrock. Shamrock circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Shamrock throws a body shot but no joy. A quick step to the side and Hanma tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. Shamrock darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
