#R1# Jackson with a nice cross. Jackson lands with an uppercut that bounces Panda off the cage and back into range. Panda dives in for a single leg takedown but Jackson sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Jackson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.#KD# Jackson lands a left and a right that send Panda crashing to the mat, dazed. Jackson thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!#ROC#Panda is rocked!#CUT#It looks like Napoleon Panda has been cut. This has been an exciting period of action! Jackson throws an overhand right that drops Panda like a sack of potatoes! Jackson dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!

In the red corner, competing out of New York, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 0 losses; Will Jackson! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 0 losses; Marcus Shakes! The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Jorge Garcia and Joseph Jones.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.#CL2# Shakes rushes Jackson and presses him up against the cage. Shakes tries to pull guard but Jackson holds him up against the cage and eventually Shakes drops back down to his feet.
Shakes drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Jackson gets the underhooks and prevents it.
#TD2# Shakes manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Shakes managing to control the position. Jackson has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jackson tries to free his leg and advance position but Shakes is retaining full guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Shakes is on top in guard.

Good standup being displayed there by Burrows as he connects with a hook. Burrows scores with a jab to the jaw. Burrows comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Jackson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Jackson jabbing away but nothing is landing. Burrows avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Jackson takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Jackson thows a left - swing and a miss! Jackson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. We've been told by Jackson's head coaches at The Proving Grounds that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Burrows walks into a left hand. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Good standup being displayed there by Burrows as he connects with a hook. Burrows cracks Jackson with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Jackson takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Jackson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jackson lands with a short head shot on the inside. Jackson lands a glancing blow to the side of Widehat's head.#TD2# Jackson gets caught napping as Widehat dives in and scores a takedown. Jackson manages to retain guard. Widehat trying to control the position from guard on top but Jackson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Jackson being controlled here, momentarily. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Widehat wants to control from the top but Jackson keeps moving. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Widehat passes Jackson's left leg - he's now in half guard. #SUB2# Widehat is working for a kimura but Jackson is defending it quite comfortably.
