We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Proffit has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Sun Chang is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Proffit changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Chang tries to avoid it but Proffit manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Chang to the ground. Chang escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Well Proffit has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

BOOM! Proffit lands a beautiful left hook that drops Hoya. Hoya tries to recover but Proffit is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Hoya lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
