The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#SUB# Sykness working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. VonMildenstein doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. VonMildenstein manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. VonMildenstein pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. #R1# Miller shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Sykness sprawls well. Sykness wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Miller gets slowly back to his feet. Sykness tries to clinch but Miller moves out of range. #TD# Sykness gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Miller to score an easy takedown into full guard. Sykness is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Miller wants to control from the top but Sykness keeps moving. Miller prevents Sykness from getting back to his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Miller trying to control but Sykness is working from the bottom. Miller is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Sykness keeping moving, preventing Miller from controlling successfully. #T1# Sykness is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Sykness is trying to stick to Miller's back but Miller is turning into Sykness. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Sykness's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Miller. Miller looking to pass the guard. Sykness bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Miller's guard. #REVB# The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
