With the fighters clinched against the cage, Pizzorno creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Pizzorno takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Pizzorno working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Pizzorno lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Bellego backwards. Pizzorno landing knees to the body.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Pizzorno moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Pizzorno lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

#R1# Bellego shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. A head kick by Bellego misses and Michailov counters with a nice body shot. Michailov dives in and grabs Bellego's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bellego pushes down on Michailov's head and hops out. Michailov shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Bellego as he jumps to the side. Bellego looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.#CL# Michailov instigates a clinch. Michailov gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Bellego.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bellego is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Michailov is defending well. Olek Michailov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of David Bellego. Bellego gets underhooks to prevent Michailov's takedown attempt.

Bellego is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Bellego wants to sweep here but Loitzl controlling him for the moment. Loitzl advances to half guard. Loitzl tries to stand but can't do so whilst Bellego controls his leg. #T1# Loitzl slips a nice elbow through Bellego's hands, connecting with Bellego's forehead. Loitzl is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
