#R1# Williams is trying hard to land a takedown here. Bermalingo sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Bermalingo! But no joy. Williams has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Bermalingo scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Williams with a lazy takedown attempt and Bermalingo counters with a nice body shot. Bermalingo tries to bum rush Williams with a series of wild strikes but Williams uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Bermalingo feints a jab promting Williams to slip. Bermalingo then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Williams slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Bermalingo!
#CL# Williams closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Bermalingo can't break the clinch.

#T1# Williams has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Bermalingo avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brian Williams. That's going to take a lot out of him. Williams is pushing Bermalingo up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Williams is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Williams keeps control of Bermalingo as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. #BC# Williams pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Williams throws a lazy head kick and Bermalingo counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Williams doesn't succeed with the takedown and Bermalingo counters with a series of strikes. Williams will be more careful next time no doubt. Bermalingo lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Williams at a distance.
#T2# No luck for Williams with that takedown attempt. Williams is breathing heavily.#KD2# Oooooh!!! Bermalingo has knocked Williams down with a huge combo! Bermalingo steps away and waves a wobbly Williams back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!#ROC2#Williams is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Williams loses concentration momentarily and Bermalingo pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Williams crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Bermalingo finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.

#R1# Gracie throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Williams throws a right and a left that both miss. Gracie throws a fast counter high kick but Williams manages to duck under it in time. Gracie misses with a series of wild punches.
#CL# Williams instigates a clinch. #TD# Williams turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#SU# Williams stands up and beckons Gracie to his feet. Williams throws a head kick but Gracie moves out of range.
Gracie throws out a counter right but Williams avoids it with no problem.#CL# Williams closes the distance and clinches. Gracie letting Williams take a breather here.#TD# Williams has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Gracie clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Gracie is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.#T1# Gracie rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
The fighters are battling for position here. Gracie manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Williams wants to control from the top but Gracie keeps moving. Gracie is trying to keep Williams in close.
Gracie is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Williams with a flurry of punches that miss. #T2# The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Gracie looking to control.
Williams has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Gracie can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Williams controls the pace.#SU# Williams stands up from guard. He's tapped! WOW, quick submission from Gracie - great work!

Volkov manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Williams is looking to break free of the clinch but Volkov has double underhooks. Volkov holding his opponent close, against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Volkov is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Williams is defending well. Volkov goes for a takedown attempt but Williams pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Volkov stuffs the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brian Williams. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. #REVR# Volkov trying to control but Williams postures up.

Volkov content to stall in guard here. #T4# The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Volkov wants to stand but Williams is controlling his posture from full guard. Williams has Volkov pulled in close to control his posture. Volkov wants to get up but he can't break Williams's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Volkov is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Volkov content to stall in guard here. #REF3# The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Williams fights it but they end up in guard. Volkov wants to pass the guard but Williams is keeping the position. Volkov content to stall in guard here. Williams has his hands on Volkov's head, controlling the position. Williams can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Volkov controls the pace. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#T1# Williams looking to hit a scissor sweep but Volkov is one step ahead there. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Volkov has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Volkov sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Williams's guard. Williams trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!
