#R1# Nice takedown defense from Jenkins. No joy for Kane on that attempt. We've been hearing reports that Jenkins has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Jenkins lands a jab to Kane's midsection. Kane shoots in for a double leg but Jenkins sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.#TD2# Kane bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Jenkins is trying to control Kane's posture but Kane avoids it. Kane trying to control the action but Jenkins is working from the bottom. Kane working away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jenkins manages to get back to half guard. Jenkins is looking to improve his position.
Kane wants to take a breather but Jenkins is having none of it. #T1# Jenkins keeping control of the position. Jenkins works his way to full guard. Good work. Jenkins looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Jenkins trying to control the position here. Jenkins is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.#T2# The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Jenkins controlling Kane's posture. #REF3# The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Kane will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Alan Jenkins has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kareem Kane. Kane takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Kane throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Alan Jenkins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jenkins takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Jenkins bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Kane's head. Jenkins thuds his right hand into Kane's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Kane throws a head kick but Jenkins moves out of range.

Kane wants to control from the top but Jenkins keeps moving. Kane is fighting to break Jenkins's control of his arms but Jenkins is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Kane is aware though and is defending well. Jenkins pulls Kane in to control the position. Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Jenkins on a fantastic submission victory.

Brown looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.#CL# Kane moves into the clinch successfully.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!#TD# Kane has picked Brown up - he's going for a ride! Kane dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Brown is looking to improve his position.

#ES2# The fighters are working up against the cage. Brown manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage. Kane fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kane with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Brown is looking for a sweep. Kane is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Brown keeps control of the position for the meantime. Kane is looking to take a break and control but Brown is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Brown moves into full guard.

We've been told by Kane's head coaches at Battle House MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.#TD2# Kane gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Kane holds on and takes a little breather. Kareem Kane overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Kane can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Brown controls the pace. Brown postures up in Kane's guard and throws a big left but Kane blocks it. Kane knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Brown on the ground.#T3# Brown distracts Kane with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Mike Brown showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Kane's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!#R3# Brown connects with a body shot. Brown doesn't succeed with the takedown and Kane counters with a lovely straight right hand! Kane darts in trying to clinch enabling Brown to counter with a crisp jab. #CUT2#It looks like Kareem Kane has been cut. Brown swings and misses with a hook to the body.

#TD2# Kane throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Gruber was covering up waiting for the punch and Kane finishes the takedown easily into guard. Kane pushes down on Gruber's leg and manages to get into half guard.#SUB2# Kane is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Gruber is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!

#BC# Kane's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Kane closes the distance and clinches up with Dong, looking for a takedown. Kane pushes Dong against the cage but Dong circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Kane throws a push kick but Dong slaps the foot to one side. Dong looks like he wants to counter punch here. Dong's coach down at 3Band MMA was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Dong's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Kane slaps away a takedown attempt from Dong, before circling back to the center of the mat.#TD# Kane closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kane thows a huge punch but Dong dodges it nicely.

Kane tries to clinch but Dong moves out of range. Kane tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Dong swings for the body but Kane moves out of range.
And Kane counters with a quick kick to the body but Dong blocks it. Sloppy strikes from Kane. Those never looked like landing. Kane tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Dong defends well and Kane ends up having to push Dong into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kareem Kane. That's going to take a lot out of him.#T3##BC# Kane escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kane shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Dong as he avoids it easily. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Kane wants to slow Dong down by chopping away at his legs. Dong flicks out a counter leg kick but Kane steps away. Dong looks to score with a jab to the body but Kane is just out of range. Kane tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Dong manages to circle out of the way. Dong wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Dong is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Kane rather than just go for the knockout. Dong stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Dong wants it to stay on the feet. Kane goes for a double leg but Dong avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Dong continues to drive forward. Kane is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Dong pulls him back up using the underhooks. Both fighters working to control the clinch. A head punch blocked on the inside by Dong. #T4# Dong effectively controlling the action here. Kane can't get the takedown.

A close second round but Long Dong will probably get the nod - 10:9. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! And we move into the final round!#R3# Kane takes one on the button.#TD# Kane feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Kane looking to sit in guard and control but Dong gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. #REVB# Dong slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. The referee asks Dong politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Dong prefers to stall for the moment though. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#T1# Dong's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.#SUB2# Dong is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Kane is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Kane is looking to reverse the position. Dong is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Kane will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.#T2# There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. More stalling from Dong. Kane wants to control but Dong postures up. Kane is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Dong is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Kane tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Dong easily slips into full mount! Dong takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.#T3# Kane is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Kane has given up his back. Will we see Dong going for some submissions?

Kane just trying to survive but Dong is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish. #T4# What can Kane do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
Let's hope that Dong has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Long Dong has got the better of the ground game so far. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Kane wants to escape the position.
