That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to James Shortman.

Isomonsi unloads a knee to the mid-section. Shortman lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Shortman is trying to pull guard but Isomonsi turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Isomonsi is working for takedown but Shortman is calmly controlling the position for now.
Isomonsi fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Isomonsi has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Shortman avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
James Shortman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Luke Isomonsi.

Isomonsi jumps guard but Shortman turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Isomonsi changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Shortman tries to avoid it but Isomonsi manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Shortman to the ground. Shortman escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Shortman tries to clinch up but Isomonsi circles away and keeps his distance.
Isomonsi throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Shortman stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Shortman has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Isomonsi should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Shortman has tightened it up now! Isomonsi should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
