Moon really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. A short right hand to the side of the head by Reyes.#BC# Moon's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Moon throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Reyes lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Moon backs up against the cage.
Moon keeps the fight on the outside. Moon is looking to score with low kicks. Moon fails with a takedown attempt. Reyes takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Nice sprawl there from Moon as Reyes shoots in. Reyes lands with a nice combination. Moon backs away looking to recover. Wooooo! That sent Reyes stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Shadow Moon is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Nice takedown defense from Moon. No joy for Reyes on that attempt. Shadow Moon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Reyes. That was a close second round but I would say that Shadow Moon will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Reyes defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Axelrod. Axelrod shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Reyes as he jumps to the side. Reyes looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Axelrod is fending him off so far but Reyes persists. Nope, Axelrod circles away and we're back to standing. No luck for Reyes with that takedown attempt. Axelrod shoots for a double leg takedown but Reyes sprawls well. He's pushed Axelrod's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. John Reyes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Crowbar Axelrod. Axelrod fails to land the takedown.#CL2# Axelrod clinches with his opponent.

Helderson is looking to take a break and control but Reyes is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Helderson wants to stand but Reyes is controlling his arm. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Helderson tries to score with some ground and pound. Reyes controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Helderson lands an elbow. Helderson tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Helderson is looking to take a break and control but Reyes is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. #R1##TD2# Sultan closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Reyes quickly recovers to half guard. Sultan lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Reyes trying to hold on to Sultan 's head to control him but Sultan postures up.
Sultan trying to control the action but Reyes is working from the bottom. Sultan has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Reyes tries to get to full guard but Sultan has control of the leg. Sultan tries to stand and escape but Reyes is controlling the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sultan seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Reyes does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Sultan seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

That was a close second round but I would say that John Reyes will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters!
