#R1# Pilon throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Pilon cracks Lopez Jr with a good jab. Pilon misses with a few strikes there.
Pilon fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Lopez Jr! But no joy. Tucker Pilon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.#CL2# Lopez Jr moves into the clinch successfully.
#TD2# Lopez Jr jumps into guard, dragging Pilon to the mat.
#SUB2# Lopez Jr working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Pilon doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Pilon manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. #SUB2# Lopez Jr looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#SU# Pilon stands and steps away. Lopez Jr gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
