#R1# Gee wants to clinch. Guy definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Gee will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Gee tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Guy swivels and escapes. Guy stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Gee should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Guy, as that shot connected.
Gee takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Guy connects with the punch. A slapping leg kick lands for Guy.
A good leg kick by Guy. Gee fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Tall Guy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Blocker Gee.#CL2# Gee clinches up against the cage. Gee wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Nice body punch from Guy. #T1# Guy misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Gee.
Gee blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Guy lands a good knee to the midsection. Gee won't want to take too many of those. Gee looks winded! Gee is trying to force a seperation but Guy has the dominant position. Guy lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Tall Guy! Tall Guy spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant. Blocker Gee spoke after the fight, saying 'I know I might have lost but He won by fowl'. |

#R1# Gee tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jackson was well out of range. Poor timing from Gee. Jackson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Jackson looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!#CL# Gee clinches up with Jackson and pushes him back against the cage.#BC# Gee pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Gee tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jackson paws at him with a jab and circles away. Jackson shapes to counter with a head kick.#TD# Gee fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Jackson sprawls well initially but Gee persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Gee passes to full mount! Gee looking to control but Jackson is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gee lands with some strikes. Gee working away from the top, dropping strikes. Jackson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gee. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.#T1# Gee scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Jackson?

#R1# Jackson lands a body shot.
Gee throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Gee darts in looking for a takedown but Jackson gets double underhooks and turns Gee into the cage. #CL# Jackson gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Jackson definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. With the fighters up against the cage, Gee throws an elbow but misses. Jackson is trying to break free. Jackson tries to pull guard but Gee holds him up against the cage and eventually Jackson drops back down to his feet.
Gee has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Jackson after a bit of a struggle. Jackson blocks a punch to the side of the head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jackson is trying to push Gee away but Gee has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.#TD2# Gee pulls Jackson into guard.
Jackson has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Gee is looking to stand up but Jackson isn't so interested in that idea. Gee looking to control.

Gee displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Jackson. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Jackson's head. #T4# The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Jackson is refusing to be controlled, as Gee sits in half guard. #REF3# The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Gee checks a low kick from Jackson. Gee wants to counter the offense by Jackson and move into the clinch position.#CL# Gee tries to keep at a distance but Jackson has taken the fight into the clinch. Gee goes for a takedown attempt but Jackson pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Gee swings and misses with a shot to the body#CL# and Jackson counters by clinching up. Jackson stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Jackson is working for takedown but Gee is calmly controlling the position for now. Jason Jackson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Blocker Gee is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Gee wants a takedown but no success here.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jason Jackson. I think Gee has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
