Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling each other endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive.
Piisinen throws a lazy right hand but Johnson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Piisinen slips a straight right by Johnson.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Well Piisinen has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

A jab from Tiger misses.
Johnson looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Johnson should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Johnson takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Tiger swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Tiger lands a head shot.
Tiger sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Johnson's defenses. It connects perfectly with Johnson's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Sono Tiger!
In his post fight interview, Sono Tiger started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception. |

Dawson throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Johnson blocks it with crossed arms.
