#R1# Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling each other endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive. Five looking to land some kicks to the body here.
A counter left hand to the body from Eight misses its target. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#CL2# Five rushes Eight and presses him up against the cage. Eight stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
#T1##TD# Eight successfully pulls guard.
Eight throwing short punches from the bottom. Five trying to control the position from guard on top but Eight is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Five prevents Eight from getting back to his feet. #SUB# Eight looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Eight tries to strike from the bottom.
Five seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Eight is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#T2# Five is fighting to break Eight's control of his arms but Eight is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Five's corner is telling him to maintain position.#SUB# Eight is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Five defends well. Eight can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Five controls the pace. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Eight wants to stand but Five is controlling the position.
And that's the end of the fight! AT Eight showed his dominance in that final round. I think Eight has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1 round of action, we go to the scorecards for a decision. Judge Igor Prikhodko scores the fight 10:9 Judge Konstantin Menshow scores the fight 10:9 Judge Aleksei Zolotukhin scores the fight 10:9
