Taiwa closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Olic did well to prevent Taiwa getting side control.

Let's hope that Taiwa has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Olic tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Taiwa cranks the arm and Olic screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Olic, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Baofu Taiwa opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see. |

Taiwa has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Baofu Taiwa.
