We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Still in half guard, Broomsdale seems content to control. Broomsdale passes to side control. #SU# Broomsdale stands up. Price leaves Broomsdale with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Price lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Sloppy strikes from Price. Those never looked like landing. Price throws a good cross that connects.
Price closes the distance and lands a one-two. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!#TD# Price gets caught napping as Broomsdale dives in and scores a takedown. Price manages to retain guard. Broomsdale wants to control from the top but Price keeps moving. #SU# Broomsdale gets to his feet - Price follows without any prompting. #T1##TD# Broomsdale throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Price tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Broomsdale is in Price's guard. Broomsdale prevents Price from getting back to his feet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#SU# Broomsdale gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. It's a sloppy attempt though and Broomsdale jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. #BC2# Price breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Ezekiel Broomsdale seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Broomsdale slips a jab and a cross from Price.
#TD# Broomsdale closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Price to the mat! Price manages to get full guard. Broomsdale won't allow Price to get back to his feet. #SUB# Broomsdale thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Price is looking to stand up but Broomsdale isn't so interested in that idea. #T4##SU# Broomsdale stands up from guard. Let's bang! Price jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

Price is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. #SU# Broomsdale stands up and waves to Price to follow him. Paul Price is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Broomsdale tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Price swivels and escapes. Despite the aggression on Price's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ezekiel Broomsdale. That's going to take a lot out of him. Price throws a wild combination but nothing lands. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Price can do anything to dispel that myth. Broomsdale controlling the action here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Price is refusing to be controlled, as Broomsdale sits in half guard. #SUB# Broomsdale is looking for a kimura but Price is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Broomsdale to get the leverage. #T1##SUB# Broomsdale is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

#R1# Neer dives in and grabs Price's left leg, looking for a takedown. Price pushes down on Neer's head and hops out. No luck with that takedown attempt from Neer. Price cracks Neer with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Neer on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Price lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Neer circles away quickly and effectively. Neer with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Price to score with a decent uppercut. Price listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.#ROC2#Neer is rocked! Price misses with a two punch combination.
Oh Neer is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!#CL# Neer instigates a clinch. Price is trying to break the clinch but Neer has him pressed against the cage. Neer seems to have got his legs back now. We've been hearing reports that Neer has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Neer jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Price walks away with a smile on his face. Neer gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Luke Neer. That's going to take a lot out of him. Price drops Neer with a big left hand! Neer is injured, injured bad! Price jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!

#R1# Gunn darts in looking for a takedown but Price gets double underhooks and turns Gunn into the cage. Gunn tries for a takedown but Price circles away easily and Price counters with a three punch combo that has Gunn backing up. Gunn nods at Price to acknowledge the strikes. Gunn fails with a takedown attempt. Paul Price has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Johnny Gunn. Gunn throws a right hand that misses
#KD# and Price counters with a crisp one two that drops Gunn! Price thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Gunn to his feet! Gunn is in big trouble!#ROC#Gunn is rocked! Gunn takes a body punch but keeps moving. Gunn is still on wobbly legs! Can Price finish him? Gunn looks winded! Price lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Gunn is looking to close the distance but Price sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Gunn crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Gunn is OK because that was naaaaaasty!

Saase wants to clinch but Price slips to the side letting Price counter with a right hand. Price goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Saase tries to clinch but fails miserably and Price counters with a lovely shot to the body. Saase tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. A swing and a miss from Saase.#CL2# Saase darts in and clinches Price up against the cage. Price wants to break the clinch but can't.

Price lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Currie circles away quickly and effectively. Currie dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Price misses with a hook to the body
and Currie counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Currie throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Price is looking to counter with a shot to the body. Price doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Currie keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Price looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Price swings for the body but Currie moves out of range.
Currie swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Price takes one to the chin there. A punch combination from Price misses. Currie misses with a body shot.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Currie throws a looping overhand right but Price ducks down to avoid it. Danga de danga de dang - Price scores with a four punch combination!#CUT#It looks like Ashton Currie has been cut. Currie scores with a jab to the head.

and Price makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Currie moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Price swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Price works over Haney's head and body with a nice combination. Price lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Haney on the wrong end of a nice jab. Price changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Price uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.#ROC2#Haney is rocked! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Price cracks Haney with a hook to the temple - Haney is on wobbly legs here! Price swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Haney falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Price wins by TKO!
