Baelsar looking to pass the guard. Baelsar engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Baelsar with a flurry of punches that miss. Baelsar content to stall in guard here. Baelsar's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Dragon will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#T1# Baelsar stands and throws Dragon's legs to the side, diving into side control. Baelsar taking a breather here. Dragon manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Dragon is wriggling around but Baelsar manages to pass to half guard.

And that's the end of the fight! Jacob Baelsar comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Baelsar has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

He's got it. We're now in half guard. Bones content to control rather than advance. #T1# Bones throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Bones stalling. Bones prevents Dragon from standing back up.
Dragon is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Dragon looks winded! Bones not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Bones stalling. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#T2# There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.#REF3# The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. TySon Dragon really struggled with his weight cut for this fight. After coming in at 178.7, he had two hours to cut the additional weight. He was unable to do so and as a result, his fight with Mike Camble was cancelled. |
