#R1# A jab from Brown does it's job there. Brown loads up on a big right hand but Ryan slips the punch. Brown feints and then cracks Ryan's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Ryan down. Brown lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Ryan defending well as Brown loads up on a big left hand. A little jabbing left from Ryan on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Brown jabs at Ryan's body. Brown throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Brown throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Brown lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Brown's jab looks to have found its range, popping Ryan under the eye. Ryan throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. #CL# Brown closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. A frustrated look appears on Ryan's face as he tries to break the clinch. Brown keeps control of Ryan as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Brown lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Ryan. Brown lands a right hand that snaps the head of Ryan backwards. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Stalling in the clinch from Brown.

Ryan wanted to stand there but Brown had control of the position. Brown trying to keep a closed guard but Ryan is proving a slippery customer.

#R1# Preston takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Preston uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Ryan. Preston shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Ryan throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Preston. Ryan has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Preston ducks right into an uppercut from Ryan. Ryan misses with a head kick.

Ryan seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Preston wants to stand up but Ryan is controlling him. That was a close round but I would say that Allan Preston will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.#R2##CL2# Ryan clinches up with Preston and pushes him back against the cage. I was talking to Preston's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Sloppy strikes from Ryan. Those never looked like landing. This has been an exciting period of action! Preston dives in for a single leg takedown but Ryan sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Ryan tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Ryan is looking for the big counter here. King goes for a double leg but Ryan avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Ryan continues to drive forward. Our sources have told us that King has been working on his knees in the buildup to the fight. King gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Ryan.
