Flanagan lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Flanagan seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Muramato is looking for a sweep. Flanagan is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Flanagan content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Muramato wants to control but Flanagan is keeping busy and won't allow it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Muramato is trying to get back to full guard. Muramato is looking to control Flanagan's leg but it's slowly edging free. #R1# Xpto tries for a takedown but Muramato sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.#TD2# A momentary lapse in concentration from Muramato enables Xpto to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Muramato manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.#SUB2# Xpto drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Xpto jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Muramato looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Muramato not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Muramato has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.#SUB2# Xpto is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Muramato is just riding it out for now. Muramato is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at 3Band MMA, so we'll see if he gets out of it. Muramato on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Muramato tries to get out of the position. Tekashi Muramato has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Xpto Xpto. Muramato working hard to break the clinch. Xpto pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Muramato tumbling to the mat - Xpto dives into Muramato's guard. Muramato manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Xpto wants to take the fight to the mat but Muramato manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Muramato working hard to break the clinch. Muramato looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Xpto is trying to drag Muramato to the mat but Muramato just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

#R1# Muramato takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Muramato closes the distance and lands a one-two.#CUT#It looks like Robbie Lawler has been cut. Lawler looks winded! Muramato dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Lawler takes one to the side of the head.
Muramato connects with the punch.#ROC#Lawler is rocked! Muramato scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Lawler is still on wobbly legs! Can Muramato finish him? A shot to the liver by Muramato. Beautiful body shot. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Lawler takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. A big right followed by a crushing left from Muramato knocks Lawler out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!

#R1# Muramato throws a shot to the body.
Lawler misses with a takedown attempt - Muramato sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Muramato lands a nice shot to the body.
Lawler dives in for a single leg takedown but Muramato sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Muramato scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Muramato displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Lawler. Tekashi Muramato has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Robbie Lawler. Muramato's jab looks to have found its range, popping Lawler under the eye. Lawler goes for a double leg but Muramato avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Muramato continues to drive forward. Muramato works over Lawler's head and body with a nice combination. Muramato scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Muramato throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

#T1# Muramato fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Lawler swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Muramato makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Muramato displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. #TD2# Lawler throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Muramato tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Lawler is in Muramato's guard. Muramato is pulling down on Lawler's head to control his posture. Lawler content to stall in guard here. Muramato keeping moving, preventing Lawler from controlling successfully.
